I’m Forrest Walden. Over the past 30 years, I’ve built and scaled fitness brands across multiple states — from 55 locations with Fitness Together to 40+ locations with Iron Tribe Fitness. My proudest accomplishments aren’t the gyms — they’re the people I’ve grown into leaders, executives, and franchise owners.
Now, I’m bringing that same vision to Project LeanNation, a fast-growing nutrition franchise from Rochester, NY, and I’m looking for a General Manager to lead the first of our 3 Birmingham locations.
Project LeanNation isn’t just meal prep — it’s coach-driven nutrition. We provide:
Chef-inspired, dietitian-approved meals
Protein shakes, recovery blends, and supplements
InBody scans and personalized coaching
Clients succeed when they have accountability, guidance, and support — and that’s where you come in. This role is about leading a team, coaching clients, growing the business, and shaping culture.
Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing team
Lead by example and model best practices
Conduct performance reviews and drive accountability
Remove obstacles and empower your team
Manage budgets, payroll, and financial performance
Oversee inventory, quality control, and daily operations
Implement new processes to drive growth and profitability
Conduct InBody scans and assess client nutrition goals
Coach clients weekly to overcome obstacles and stay accountable
Ensure clients achieve results with our meals and programs
Passionate about fitness, nutrition, and people
A strong leader who thrives on accountability and results
Excited to build a long-term career with growth potential
Committed to developing others and scaling a business
This isn’t just managing a store — it’s building a career and a legacy. You’ll help scale Project LeanNation in Birmingham, grow future leaders, and potentially move into multi-unit or franchise ownership.
If you’re ready to lead, grow, and change lives, let’s talk.
